Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using img2layers, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

2. The service

img2layers uses automated systems to separate an uploaded image into multiple image files for preview and download. Output quality, layer count, transparency, completeness, and reconstruction may vary with the source image and model behavior. We may improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue features as the service evolves.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you upload and outputs you receive, subject to any rights in the underlying material and applicable law. You represent that you own your content or have all permissions necessary to upload and process it.

You grant img2layers and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive right to host, transmit, reproduce, modify, and process your content only as necessary to provide, secure, and support the service. You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. AI output

Generated layers may be inaccurate, incomplete, visually altered, duplicated, or unsuitable for your intended use. You must inspect outputs before publication or commercial use. img2layers does not guarantee that an output is unique, non-infringing, or fit for a particular purpose.

6. Credits, subscriptions, and payments

Prices, included credits, billing intervals, and applicable taxes are shown on the website or at checkout. Credits are service-use units, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or resold.

Monthly subscription credits are allocated after a successful payment, apply to the corresponding billing period, and do not roll over unless the offer expressly says otherwise. Separately purchased credit-pack credits are maintained independently from monthly credits while your account and the service remain available.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Payments are processed by Creem as merchant of record. Additional checkout and customer-portal terms may apply.

7. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use img2layers for unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, sexually explicit, exploitative, deceptive, face-swap, deepfake, or harmful activity. You may not interfere with the service, bypass security or usage limits, reverse engineer restricted components, resell access without permission, or use automated means that unreasonably burden the service.

9. Intellectual property

img2layers, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and original site content, is owned by or licensed to the operator and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.

10. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service; investigate suspected violations; comply with law; or address non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties where legally permitted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, img2layers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for img2layers during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
